Want the Harry Potter experience without the study?
University Colleges around Australia open their spare rooms to travellers, wich are mostly available during the long summer University break (around mid November till early February), although some rooms may be available all year round.
Anyone on a budget, and particularly single travellers who don’t want to share a room with strangers, will find college rooms an inspired choice.
Rooms and apartments vary in size and come with either shared or private en-suite bathrooms. For those who enjoy accommodation out of the ordinary why not try the charm and character of a university room.
At some Colleges breakfast is included in the room rate and is often served in a wonderful heritage dining hall.
If you’re travelling on a budget but don’t want to compromise on quality why not stay in a historic University College room. Students’ university rooms are vacant during the University holidays (some even all year round!) and are available for budget conscious travellers.
Rooms are currently available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Perth.
Please check the details of the individual colleges that can be found at the bottom of this page. (In case the booking form, map and information regarding individual residences do not show below, please click on ‘Click here to make a booking’ link below to show details.)
