Mandelbaum House adheres to the Jewish dietary laws of Kashrut. This means that no meat is allowed (unless it is kosher) no seafood, and no products containing pork or seafood. All fruit and vegetables are fine.

When I stayed in front room on second floor outside temperature was mild. I can imagine the room could get warm in hot weather. Can hear traffic in front room but was not a problem for me. Otherwise was quiet. TV room a bonus. Friendly people when I saw them. Brilliant location. Nice walk to Redfern station,
