Graduate House, the eleventh affiliated College of The University of Melbourne, came into being in 1911 when a group of graduates wishing to maintain the friendships formed during student years began a graduates club which continues to this day. The College is located a short tram ride to the city centre and is within walking distance of all the facilities you would expect of a University precinct e.g. restaurants, cafes and sporting facilities.
Graduate House is not your typical student residence as it caters to mature students and graduates from around the globe. The College combines historic terrace buildings with modern architecture and a modern and attractively furnished. A congenial atmosphere pervades the lounge and dining area. Staying at the College is great value as dinner is included in the room price from Monday to Friday and a cooked breakfast is included Monday to Friday with brunch included on Saturday and Sunday.
The College offers common rooms and comfortable bedrooms furnished with all a graduate student requires. Internet is available in each bedroom.
